Activities
Just do nothing!
This is the best place to occupy yourself with not being occupied, especially during rainy season, which is from May to mid August, where other activities are a bit limited. Looking at the sea never gets boring, and we also have a few interesting books available.
Snorkeling
We have quite a decent reef in front of our beach, where one will meet turtles most of the time. But other spots are available too. Our boat can carry up to 5 people for fishing, snorkel and dive trips in the vicinity.
Fishing or snorkel trip is Rp. 350.000 for one and 70.000 for additional person.
Rent of glasses and snorkel is Rp. 50.000 per day.
Waterfall Tour
There are actually several waterfalls in the vicinity. One nearby is in a neighboring valley. The path leads for half an hour through plantations while one has to cross the river several times. Finally one meets another little river and has to follow it upstream through jungle until one reaches the waterfall. If you like to get accompanied, it is Rp. 150,000 plus 50.000 for additional person.
There is another bigger waterfall which requires 1,5 hours serious hiking along / in the river and a bit of climbing. We can show you the way to the river for free and you can walk by yourself.
For both tours you should have shoes or sandals which are not too slippery and which can be used for walking in water.
Maleo hatchery and red sugar production
The eggs of the endemic Maleo get dig out to save them from the lizards and put into the hatchery. Once they hatch, visitors may release them to the wild. A nice experience especially for children. Afterwards one may stroll through the forest and observe how red sugar is produced in a traditional fashion.
The tour will be conducted by a local bird expert. It costs Rp. 750,000 for single plus Rp. 100,000 for additional person including entrance fee and car.
Bird watching tour

The region of Bolaang Mongondow Selatan has top unspoiled dive sites, most of them near our place.
